about so the adventure continues

Hi! I’m Carolina and I’m totally obsessed with road trips, traveling, and the food you eat along the way. So here I am, with a blog, to tell you all about my favorite things!

So the Adventure Continues was on my college graduation cap, because I don’t believe that any adventure “ends” but that your life is just a continuing adventure. SO…the adventure continues, always.

I hold a strong belief that travel is the best way to understand the world. When you’re exposed to different cultures and people, it’s surprising how much you can learn about yourself. And I want to share what I learn from my travels to help others better understand the benefits of travel.

So what do I know about travel? I graduated from college with Bachelors in Tourism & Hospitality Management in 2019 where I learned so much about planning and creating a great travel experience. I have also lived in 3 different states, visited 20 and have been to 4 different countries (I’m counting the US here, because I’ve seen so much of it). But I have so many more plans, and I want to share them with you as I go.

My goals currently include:

  • Visiting all 50 states. Road trips are my plan to accomplish this one! They’re the best (and usually the cheapest) way to cover the most land, and see the most states at once
  • Visiting all 7 continents. I don’t officially have a plan for this one, but I have already visited 3, so I’m on my way there!
  • Visit 30 countries by 30. This one’s a lofty goal, and I’m not sure if I’ll quite make it. But it’s a great way to motivate me to visit at least one new country every year.

To learn more about my blog, check out some of my most popular posts. I have two main categories that I post within.

  • Travel guides and tips. Here, I’ll post itineraries and how to’s about planning your own trips.
  • My Baking to Travel Series. Originally started during the disaster that was 2020, as a way to “explore” new cities without leaving my house, it is a combination of a guide to somewhere I have not yet been and a matching recipe to go along with them.
